Saturday, April 26th at 10:00 AM will be the next and FINAL fish stocking of the year!

We very much appreciated the help we received from everyone who came to the first stocking we held. Feel free to bring friends, family, kids etc. We hope to see you all again this next go around!

Our first fish stocking will be Saturday, March 29th at 10:00 A.M.

All are welcome to come and help. Those who help with the event, and other events hosted by the club, also receive a $10 reduction in their membership costs for the following dues season.

We are hosting our annual Hunter's Safety Course at the club on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. Please use the link below to register for the class through the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

The class is from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.

There is no charge for the class, and lunch will be provided by the club.

All registrants must be age 11 by the day of the class.

Ron Brooks will be our instructor for the day. His phone number is 724-880-3406 if you were to have any questions.

There are plenty of seats available, so feel free to share this information with your friends and family who are interested in becoming the next generation of hunters!

Attention Members!

The Fayette Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) program will be holding sign-ups at South Connellsville Rod & Gun Club at 6 p.m. February 12. YHEC is open to all youth between the ages of 11-18. The program consists of training in shotgun, rifle, muzzleloaders and archery with the goal of competing in regional competition in May and state competition in June.

On behalf of the Board of Directors & members of our club, we are extending our thanks and gratitude to the Pennsylvania Game Commission for selecting us as the recipient of their Shooting Range Improvement Program grant totaling $30,000. This grant will help tremendously alongside the other improvements that are planned for our range!

The Wildlife Conservancy of South Connellsville is the non-profit arm of the South Connellsville Rod & Gun Club, and will be available through Fayette Gives this November 7th, 2024 to receive donations. As a club and a community as a whole we would really appreciate it if anyone considers donating! All of the information is listed in the photo below. Thank you all in advance!!

Week of Aug 26th.

Aug 27th will be an evening training session.

The rifle range will remain open.
