Thought I’d have a shot at racing yesterday but woke up feeling worse than the day prior so it just didn’t make sense to load everything up and go try to race not feeling anywhere close to 100%.

With prior commitments in place for next week, this essentially puts an end to my 2026 racing season. Despite not reaching the ultimate goal of finding victory lane, I’d still say it was a successful season. Ran top-10 in every race, won a heat race, four top-5s, gained speed throughout the year, and will likely end it sitting fifth in points.

Never know what next year is going to look like but I love driving race cars. It’s basically all I’ve ever wanted to do since I was a little kid sitting in the same grandstands I am fortunate enough to race in front of today.

I have a lot of people to thank. First, Kelly: you make all of this possible. I love you. Big thanks to everyone who checks on me and helps me anytime I need it in the pits: Ginger, John, Luke Winning, my brother Nick, and everyone else that has lent a hand — you’re all awesome. Pat and Zane Ferrell for letting me use their trailer — literally could not be there without you guys. Everyone who helped in the shop over the summer. My dad especially was huge at different points trying to get the power steering deal fixed and getting me pointed back in the right direction when I took wedge into my own hands.

I also want to thank the track from the top of the press box all the way down to the concession stand and everyone in between. You all make the track what it is and your work will never get enough “thank yous”.

Lastly my sponsors:

Connellsville B**r Warehouse has rode with me since the beginning.
Mike Rulli Electrical Services appreciate you coming on this year and so glad to have another racers support
The Sign Guy lettered my dads cars and it’s so cool to have you doing mine
Schmitz Tire you guys never complain and you probably should as much as I show up
20 Performance for always answering my dumb questions no matter what time of day or night
The Collar Club I don’t think you guys need my help with marketing as busy as you are but thank you for the last two seasons nonetheless

See you in 2027 🏁

Pretty solid night at the track. Had two features to make up for the rain out a few weeks back. Car handled great in practice and didn’t change a thing to start the night.

Rolled off P8 for the first one and was able to move up to 5th quickly and then after a few cautions was able to bring it home P4.

After that strong run there was a lot of confidence heading into the second feature where I’d start P3. But on the start there was some chaos as the car in front of me just didn’t go and I was boxed in until I was able to get clear. When the dust settled I was once again in P8. I was able to pick off a few cars before one of the cars in front of me started dumping fluid all over the track, turning the race into an exhibition of everyone’s drifting skills. At the end of the night it was a P7.

On one hand it was awesome to show up at the track with a car that was capable of winning. When you run the same lap times as the cars that won that’s a really encouraging sign. On the other hand it feels like the results could have been a little better, but that’s racing.

Thanks to my brother Nick for helping in the pits and everyone else who is always willing to lend a hand.

Can’t do it without the sponsors:

It was… a night at the track?

Car unloaded decent in practice. Was surprised it was a little loose because it shouldn’t have been but that’s this car for ya. Rolled off P4 in the heat race. Was working my way to the inside of the 24 when my buddy Matt parked his car into the wall. Didn’t have anywhere to go and got caught up and a flat tire ended all of that. Car is fine but the fender I just replaced needs another replacing. Racing things happen when you’re racing. Good news was everyone was good to continue…

Our feature was up next when the rains came. Season is starting to wind down and I think I’ll probably come back out for the special on the 12th and call it a season.

Thank you sponsors and everyone that helps me in the pits — Ginger and the boys especially for getting me in and out of the car. Much appreciated!

Try again in a few weeks.

Good, clean night at the track. Car unloaded on a rail in practice but a bad pill draw would start me 6th in the heat race. Got to 5th and had to settle there. Started 4th in the feature but got shuffled back to 6th after some early chaos. Worked my way back up to 5th but wore out my tires in the process and ran out of time.

I think the handling is finally in a really good place. It was stable all night until I burned the right rear up. Now just need to put some attention to finding a little more speed.

Thanks to my dad and everyone who helped in the shop putting the car back together after last week’s nonsense.

Thanks to everyone in the pits who lends a hand. It’s really appreciated to be surrounded by such good people.
