The players have spoken, and we’re excited to announce our 2026 fall season team captains! 👏

These two were chosen by their teammates to help lead our team both on and off the field. It's not about what us as coaches think, it's about what their teammates think, that's the only way to be chosen! Being a captain isn’t just about what happens between the lines. It’s about setting the example, encouraging your teammates, bringing the energy, and helping build the kind of team everyone wants to be a part of.

We’re proud of these two for earning the trust of their teammates, and we can’t wait to see them step into their new roles!

Congratulations to Channing for making the volleyball team @ Bridge City MS. Not only that, she's also on her 7th grade cheer squad! Channing we're super proud of you and we had NO DOUBTS!!

She's a fierce competitor not only putting in the work on the field. She's also doing it on the court and the tumbling mats!💪 💪

This is what being an ATHLETE is all about. Challenging yourself, trying new things, working hard, and competing with confidence.

🏐🔥 LET’S HEAR IT FOR OUR ATHLETES! 🔥🏐

We wanted to give a big shout out to some of our Athletes 12u-McInnis 7th grade girls for not only putting in the work on the softball field but off the field as well. These girls went in their tryouts to compete and came out with a confidence boost!

Big shoutouts and congratulations to Rylee, Hudsyn, and Jemma in picture #1 for making their C.O. Wilson MS volleyball team!

Congratulations to Karson & Fynnlee in picture #2 for making their Little Cypress JH volleyball team. Not only volleyball but Karson is also on her 7th grade cheer team and Fynnlee is their school mascot!

Can't leave these girls out either! Congratulations to Abby & Alaina in picture #3 for making their volleyball team at Port Neches MS and Groves MS!

This is what being an ATHLETE is all about. Challenging yourself, trying new things, working hard, and competing with confidence. The lessons they will learn through discipline, teamwork, confidence, perseverance, effort, and attitude on the volleyball court will only bring them more together on the softball field as a team!

Good luck to all these multi-sport athletes this year in everything they accomplish on or off the field!

Another practice in the books tonight for these 12U Athletes. 🔥🥎

You have to put in the work, even on the days when you’re not 100% feeling up to it.

There are two things you bring into this game that you have complete control over:

EFFORT.
ATTITUDE.

This game is HARD. If it wasn’t, any ol’ Nancy or Sally off the street could come play it.

Softball will tear you down. It will humble you. It will battle-test you, strip your confidence, bruise your ego, and sometimes make you want to say "I QUIT."

But, it’s in those moments that you find out who you really are.

Do you pick yourself back up?
Do you wipe the dirt off?
Do you step back in the box and take the next swing?
Do you steal the next bag?
Score the next run?
Throw the next strike?
Get the next out?
Make the next big play?

Do you respond by coming back out fighting like you WANT IT?

That’s where resilience is built.

Practice isn’t supposed to be pretty. It isn’t supposed to be perfect.

This is where we find the weaknesses and put in the work to turn them into strengths.

This is where we take the strengths we already have and sharpen them until they become weapons.

We work on the little things.
We get the little things right.
Because when the little things become second nature, the BIG things start looking that much better.

These girls are preparing for a season where they are going to be battle-tested.

They’re building confidence.
They’re learning resilience.
They’re learning how to respond when things don’t go their way.
And most importantly, they’re learning to compete with HEART.

This team isn’t preparing to quietly show up.

They’re preparing to GO TO WAR.

And when the time comes…

THEY WILL NOT GO SILENT INTO THE NIGHT. 🔥🥎
