I played baseball as a dual position player from 2013-2015 at East Central Community College and pitched in 2015-2017 at the University of Alabama Huntsville. I worked as a strength coach as I finished my bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2017-2018. After earning my degree, I pitched a year professionally with the Evansville Otters. I’ve been providing lessons in central Arkansas since 2019 and took a year off with the addition of my son. I’m still active with playing baseball and fastpitch softball. Looking forward to bettering your kiddos!”

Cheyenne Floyd is a transfer pitcher from Texas. She played 2 years at McLennan Community College, then transferred to play 3 more years at Angelo State University. She is now signed to play her 6th and final year at UCA! Cheyenne is a 2x All American and 2024 LSC Pitcher of the Year. She is super excited to get started! Join us in welcoming Riley Loyd to the Apex Family!!!

Riley is from Little Rock, Arkansas and played baseball at College of the Ozarks in Missouri, from 2020-2024, while earning a Bachelors degree in exercise science. He graduated from Baptist Prep in 2019 after two All-State selections, three All-Conference selections, and one 4A All-Star nomination. In College, Riley was a part of 4 NCCAA World Series teams, reaching the Final 4 twice.

Riley specializes in pitching, strength training, recovery, injury prevention, and is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. He strives to find ways to improve athletes, strategizing programs tailored to the individual’s needs. He has a deep love for the game and a passion to instill values of hard work, dedication, and the mindset it takes to be successful.
