Most people think a plank is just βhold your body straight and donβt fall.β
But if your pelvis, lower back, rib cage, and shoulder girdle are not in the right position, you may be missing the entire point of the exercise.
A plank should teach your body how to create tension, control the spine, stabilize the pelvis, and connect the upper body to the core.
That is where the real value is.
