OPEN GYM : $1 Admission for players and spectators

Recreation Facility! including:
6 Basketball Goals
2 Volleyball Nets
2 Soccer Goals
10 Play Ground Balls
Cornhole Boards with bags

We also have rentals available: Parties, Practices, etc. Practices for teams in an existing league are $25/hr. Parties and other sporting events are $25/hr with a 3 hour minimum. This page will be updated daily with events and times. All times and events are subject to change. We strongly recommend customers to call ahead of time to check open gym status. Any Comments or Questions, please call or email. We encourage discussion and varying viewpoints. However, the City of Cookeville (Cane Creek Gymnasium) will not feature:

• Nudity/pornography, adult and/or hate language

• Activities restricted to adults

• Hostility or violence

• Attacks on ethnic, racial or religious groups

• Illegal discrimination against any group

• Illegal or inappropriate use of firearms or drugs, or any illegal activity

• Sexual, obscene or indecent or explicit messages

• Sexual overtone or innuendo

• Products or services with sexual overtones such as massage parlors, escort services, or establishments featuring for show or sale x-rated or pornographic movies materials or performances

• False, misleading or deceptive sponsorships/advertisements

• Links to spam, malware, or non-government sites

• Language or information that is obscene, foul, vulgar, scurrilous or scatological.

• Information harmful to children or is of a nature to frighten children, either emotionally or physically

• Cruelty to animals

• Duplicate posts by the same author (the original post will be left intact assuming it follows the guidelines of acceptable comments or content)

• Online casino gaming, gambling or betting

• Information affiliated with or promoting political campaigns

• Programs and events not officially sponsored by the City of Cookeville

• Solicitations for donations, except for official City-sponsored activities

There is one week left of early bird registration for the Leisure Services Youth Basketball League!

The season starts with evaluation day on October 31st. Practices will start the week of November 2nd and could be scheduled for Sunday-Friday evenings. Games will start on December 5th and will be held on Saturdays through February. This league is for children in pre-k through 8th grade.

Early bird registration is open now and will end on September 25th and is $65.
Regular registration will open September 26th and end on October 29th and is $70.
Late registration will open October 30th and end on November 5th and is $85.

The Leisure Services 5v5 Men's Basketball League is back! The league will run from October 18th through December 20th. Games will be played Sunday afternoons at the Cane Creek Gymnasium. Players must be 16 or older. Registration is open now and ends on October 9th.
