As we mourn the loss of one of our Mayhem Nation family, it is in these moments we cling to the Lord for strength.
Jason Bowers passed away this week and leaves behind a big gap in our community. He was a kind, selfless man and a valiant competitor. His dedication and disciple to the sport is only outshined by love for his family and the people around him. Jason was a constant encourager and pillar in the gym.
We are praying for his family, friends and CrossFit 301 Elite community.
To those who are struggling, please lean into the community, keep showing up, and find someone to speak Truth into your life. Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leaves the 99 to find the one; you are worthy of life and being loved.
To those who wrestle with the “why’s”, turn to God for peace beyond understanding. We may not get answers this side of heaven but we know we have a God who sees, hears and heals the brokenhearted; you can trust Him.
To our whole community, thank you for your continuous love and care for the people God has placed around you. No one is over-encouraged; speak life and Truth into the people you encounter each day. God has a purpose for your life and where you are.
Jesus came to Earth to ensure death doesn’t have the final say. We look forward to the day, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:4
