The beginning of my fitness journey was focused on weight loss. After achieving that goal, I immediately started shifting focus to add muscle mass. This process was grueling and much harder than the journey of weight loss. I still am far from where I want to be, but I have enjoyed the journey.

Throw back to this amazing view and incredibly challenging hike .....for me. I like to be big boy and lift heavy.... and neglect my cardio. My wife on the other hand handled it with ease. 10 miles, 5 hour average time and 2050 ft in elevation gain. Probably the hardest thing physically that I have ever done. It didn't help I thought it was a good idea to fast and it was 90 degrees.

Throwback to this nerd winning the weight loss competition. Under 140 lbs, skinny and this one came down to the wire. I beat the guy by 0.2%. I remember pouring everything into this and eating nothing but eggs the last three days. Props to my amazing trainer at the time Kolby Dahl
