Things to Know Thursday: Scorecard Signing & Submission! 📝⛳
One of the most important parts of tournament golf happens after the final putt drops: scorecard verification. Before turning in your scorecard, take time to read scores aloud with your group, confirm each hole, and ensure everyone agrees on the recorded scores.
Once scores have been verbally confirmed, carefully review the official scorecard to make sure it matches what was agreed upon. Don’t forget that every scorecard must have two signatures—the player’s and the marker’s—before being returned to tournament staff.
Taking an extra minute to verify your card helps maintain the integrity of competition and ensures every player’s score is recorded accurately!
