All week long, we’re celebrating former Blue Ox players taking the next step in their hockey and academic careers!

First up: Pearse Mayrose!

A Minnetonka, Minnesota native, Pearse has been part of the Blue Ox family for the past three seasons, becoming a Captain during his final season with the TEAM.

Between the pipes, Pearse appeared in 31 regular-season games for the Ox, recording 20 wins during his three-year run.

But Pearse’s impact went far beyond the crease. His leadership, commitment to his TEAMmates, and dedication to the organization are exactly what we want wearing the Ox.

Now, Pearse is trading Minnesota Blue for St. Bonaventure University, where he’ll continue his education and compete with the Bonnies’ ACHA hockey TEAM in New York!

Three seasons. One incredible journey. And now, the next chapter.

The Minnesota Blue Ox are excited to announce the signing of Jackson Dahl for the 2026–27 NCDC season!

The Waseca, Minnesota native brings some serious offense from the blue line. Dahl put up an impressive 30 points in just 28 games last season, establishing himself as a dangerous scoring defenseman.

A smooth, offensive-minded D who can contribute at both ends of the ice, Jackson adds another exciting piece to the Blue Ox blue line as we continue building our roster for the upcoming season.

🚨 SIGNED | DYLAN PETERSON 🚨

The Minnesota Blue Ox are excited to announce the signing of Elk River, Minnesota native Dylan Peterson for the 2026–27 NCDC season!

Peterson brings valuable junior hockey experience to the Ox after a strong start last season with the Gillette Wild, producing 27 points in 31 NA3HL games before earning the opportunity to advance to the NCDC with the Casper Warbirds, where he finished the season.

The 5’9” forward returns to Minnesota with NCDC experience already under his belt and adds another proven, hard-working Minnesota player to the Blue Ox lineup.

🏠 A Few More Billet Families Needed!

Thanks to an outstanding summer of recruiting by our coaching staff, the Minnesota Blue Ox are heading into the 2026–27 season with an incredibly talented group of players — and we’re looking for just a couple more billet families to help us welcome them to Minnesota!

Becoming a billet is more than providing a place to stay. You become a player’s home away from home, a huge part of their junior hockey experience, and a member of the Blue Ox family.

Our players come to Minnesota to chase their goals on the ice, continue their education, and become part of our community. Some of the strongest relationships in junior hockey are the ones built between players and their billet families.

What billet families receive:

• Monthly billet compensation
• Blue Ox tickets and TEAM benefits
• A chance to make a lasting impact on a young athlete’s journey
• A new member of the family — often well beyond the hockey season

The Minnesota Blue Ox are excited to announce the signing of forward Braden Korba for the 2026–27 season!

A native of Stillwater, Minnesota, Korba comes to the Ox after serving as Captain of Gentry Academy, where he recorded 23 points in 30 games last season.

Braden brings leadership, experience, and offensive ability to the Blue Ox lineup. Having worn the “C” at Gentry, he understands what it means to lead a locker room and put the TEAM first.

The Minnesota Blue Ox are excited to announce the signing of forward Eddie Drury for the 2026–27 NCDC season!

Drury joins the Ox after a standout season with Two Rivers High School, where he recorded 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 points in just 26 games — an impressive 1.46 points per game.

The 5’10”, 181-pound Minnesota native brings a strong two-way game, offensive production, and physicality to the Blue Ox lineup.
