With the chilly weather and rain this morning, the clubhouse will be closed today.

If you still want to come out and golf, you’re welcome to! ⛳️ Just keep in mind that the clubhouse will be closed and rental carts will not be available.

Stay warm and dry, and we’ll see you out on the course! 🖤

Good news, golfers — THE COURSE IS PLAYABLE AGAIN AND WE ARE OPEN TODAY! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

After all that rain, the course has finally had a chance to dry out and we’re ready to see you! So come on out, get a round in, grab some food, and let’s get back to doing what we do best! 🍔⛳🍻

BUT… we also need to have a little BREWSKI TALK. 😂

Our Brewski Tournament is coming up on September 19th and right now…

🌧️ COURSE UPDATE 🌧️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature just isn’t being very kind to us right now. With all the rain we’ve received, we still have too much water on the course, so carts will NOT be allowed again today. 🚫🛺

We will still be serving lunch from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, and will plan to close up the clubhouse after lunch. We’ll continue to monitor the course throughout the day. If our Grounds Superintendent determines that conditions improve enough to safely allow play, we will reopen the course. ⛳️

We know September golf is precious, and we want to get everyone back out there as soon as we can. But our goal is also to keep the course in good playing condition—not just for today, but for the future.

Even though we’re heading toward the end of the season, we’re already looking ahead to next year. Allowing carts onto a saturated course can create large ruts and damage that takes a significant amount of time, work and resources to repair.

🌱 Taking care of the course now means less work to get it ready for you next season.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we let the course dry out. We promise—we want to be out there playing just as much as you do! ❤️⛳️

🌱 GREENS AERATION DAY! ⛳️

Just a reminder that C**n Rapids Golf Course is CLOSED TODAY, Tuesday, September 8th, while our grounds superintendent works hard to aerate all of our greens.

So, why do we aerate? 🤔

Aeration is one of the most important things we can do for the health of our greens. By pulling small plugs from the soil, we’re allowing air, water and nutrients to reach the roots, reducing soil compaction and giving the grass room to breathe and grow.

🌾 Why do it this time of year?

Early September is a great window for aeration because the temperatures are beginning to cool, but the grass is still actively growing. That gives the greens the best opportunity to recover quickly before heading into fall and winter. Taking care of them now helps us maintain healthier, stronger putting surfaces for the seasons ahead!

We know a closed course isn't anyone's favorite news—but this work is an investment in the course and in better greens for all of you! ❤️⛳️

We’ll see you back out on the course Wednesday!

🌧️ COURSE UPDATE 🌧️

Whew… Mother Nature really gave us a workout yesterday! 😳🌧️

After the excessive amount of rain we received, our Grounds Superintendent has made the call to close the course today. 🚫⛳️

NO CARTS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE TODAY. We need to give the course time to dry out and recover so we can keep it in the best shape possible.

With that being said, our 2-person 8” is also cancelled for today.

🌱 REMINDER: We will also be CLOSED TOMORROW, Tuesday, for green aeration.

We’ll see everyone back out here Wednesday! ⛳️☀️

📅⛳ WHAT’S HAPPENING AT CRGC THIS WEEK! ⛳📅

After one heck of a weekend, we’re not slowing down yet! 😂 We’ve got a BUSY week ahead, so here’s the rundown:

🏌️ MONDAY–SATURDAY:
Open golf all week! Come get your rounds in before things get REALLY busy!

🎯 SUNDAY – 4-Person 8" Tournament
☀️ AM Session – 7:30 AM tee time
🌤️ PM Session – 1:30 PM tee time

We know everyone is already registered and paid, but a little reminder — PLEASE plan to arrive early enough to get your beverages, drinks, etc. taken care of BEFORE your tee time. 😉 We don't want to see everyone rolling in 5–10 minutes before they're supposed to tee off!

You will still need to come inside and check in to receive your scorecard, but there is no need to worry about payment — you've already got that part covered! ✅

🚨 The course will be CLOSED until NOON for the tournament.

🌽⛳ WHAT. A. WEEKEND! ⛳🌽

The C**n Rapids Golf Course was BUSY, and we wouldn't have had it any other way! 🙌

We had an incredible weekend hosting both the Iowa Corn Growers and the Golwitzer Memorial, and WOW did you guys know how to bring the fun! Great golf, great people, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of memories made right here at CRGC. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Iowa Corn Growers and the Golwitzer Memorial for choosing C**n Rapids Golf Course to host your events. We are truly grateful you trusted us with your weekend and allowed us to be a small part of two awesome events!

And of course, thank you to EVERYONE who came out, played, volunteered, helped, supported, laughed, ate, drank, and kept things rolling. It takes a village to make weekends like this happen, and we couldn't do it without you!
