Well… that escalated quickly. 😬🏁

One little tire tag and Landon went from racing for position to facing the wrong direction and meeting the wall.

Not every lap goes the way you planned. Shake it off, learn from it, and get ready for the next one.

🏁 GREENWOOD VALLEY RACE RESULTS 9/19 🏁

What a night of racing for the 10M, Both kids had nights full of learning, battling, and definitely some excitement.

Emery | 125 Micro – 10M
For the first time, we let Emery do her own pill draw and start wherever she picked…and of course she pulled 2nd to last. She started 6th in her heat and finished 6th.

She lined up 6th for the feature and drove her way up to a 4th-place finish! She was definitely racing aggressively and testing the limits last night. There were a couple moments where she leaned a little too hard on other cars trying to make the corner, and we had a conversation afterward about knowing where that line is. Racing hard is good — but learning how to race hard while still respecting the cars around you is part of becoming a better driver. She took it in, learned from it, and I think last night taught her a lot.

Landon | 600 Micro – 10M
Landon started 4th in his split heat and drove to 3rd, earning himself a spot in the redraw! He pulled 6th for the feature.

After the four-wide salute, the rain decided to make an appearance and we had a little rain delay before we could officially get things going. 🌧️

Once we went green, things got wild FAST. In turn 3, Landon caught another car’s tire, spun and tagged the wall, bringing out the caution and sending him to the rear.

Then, while working his way back through the field, a car flipped directly in front of him. He had nowhere to go and got tangled up in it — sending him to the rear AGAIN.

So this kid basically had to come from the back TWICE in one feature…and somehow fought his way all the way back to 11th at the checkered.

The finishing position definitely doesn’t tell the whole story on this one. Landon raced his HEART out last night. Every time something knocked him back, he went right back to work.

A lot of racing, a lot of learning, and a whole lot of fight from both of these kids last night.

🏁 RACE DAY TOMORROW! 🏁

The 10M & 20M are headed back to Greenwood Valley Action Track this Saturday!

Emery and Landon are both ready to get after it, and we’re hoping for a fun night of racing! There aren’t many race nights left in the season, so come out, grab some food, hit the stands and spend your Saturday night at the track with us!

Two kids. Two cars. One pretty awesome way to spend a Saturday.

From getting ready to go racing to bringing it back covered in mud. 🩷🏁

Emery kept working all night on a heavy, wet and bumpy track. She wasn’t afraid to move around, try different lines and figure out what worked—and brought home a 2nd-place finish.

Just another night of learning, racing and getting a little dirtier along the way.

Another night under the lights, another 20 seconds of that 10M getting after it. Every lap is experience, and every race is another chance to keep getting better.

🏁 RACE NIGHT RESULTS GREENWOOD VALLY🏁

What a wild night of racing!

From the first green flag to the last checkered, the track was heavy, wet and bumpy and definitely kept everyone on their toes.

Emery | 125 Winged — P2! 🥈
Emery started toward the back and spent the race moving around and trying different lanes to see what worked best on a tough track. She kept digging, kept trying different lines and worked her way forward to bring it home 2nd in her class! Awesome job by her figuring out the track and making it work.

Landon | 600 Wingless — P8!
Landon started 9th in the feature, but when the green dropped his lane just didn’t go and he got shuffled back. He didn’t let that stop him. He fought hard, worked his way back through and crossed the checkered in 8th, gaining a position from where he started!

Another solid night of learning in the wingless car, especially on a track that made them work for every spot.

Those features were definitely some hold-your-breath racing. But both cars made it across the checkered and we’re heading home with a P2 and P8!

Pretty proud of these two.

And a big thank you to Mike, Devin and Austin for coming out and being there with us! We definitely appreciate the extra hands
