A great morning of Labor Day tennis in support of Tennis in Coppell, Cans of Love AND the Coppell High School tennis team. Looking forward to the team’s December service project!

Recycle your old worn out shoes at Wagon Wheel and Coppell High School tennis centers. Their project saves shoes from the landfill for recycling and helps fund small non-profits like Cans of Love and Tennis in Coppell.

With the help and expertise of Officer Chris in Irving, the Cans of Love team participated in the annual Point-in-Time census of unsheltered people. This annual program is administered by HUD nationwide on this night. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack!! But it was a full moon and if you know where to look you do find folks. Now we’re home doing what tennis players do, watching the AO mens semis! God bless those people who live on the street.

From Many Helping Hands homeless day center: We are in need of towels badly!!!! If you have any gently used towels we would love to have them. We do anywhere from 45 to 60 showers a week and we desperately need towels. New ones work too Thank you!!
