If you’re lifting 2–4 days per week, Pilates 1–3 times per week works well as:
• A lower-impact day that still trains strength and core.
• An integrated session to “undo” stiffness from heavy lifting and high-intensity work.
• You want stronger core and stabilizers for better lifting technique and safer joints.
• You’re rehabbing or want a lower-impact option on days you don’t want to load heavy.
Many athletes and active adults use Pilates as cross-training to enhance performance and recovery without adding more joint impact.
