Swim with Mr. Blue, Ms. Julie and Coach Gabbi,

Today, as usual, we ventured to our safe haven...our backyard. Me, Mikey and my 2 teens (Bella and Angie) all decided to have some fun in the sun. We were listening to music and hanging out. Suddenly, Mikey fell into the pool. My 2 teens screamed and jumped to get Mikey and I yelled for them to stop in the same second. Mikey did fall into the water but he was doing what you trained him to do... And surprisingly, so was I! Although a panic was inside of me, I said, "Kick and swim to the wall, Mikey!" As soon as he fell, he turned his body to face the wall and started kicking and reaching for the wall! He made it. It didn't end there. I did not pick him up out of the water and console him at this time. I told him to choo choo along the wall as taught in class and he did, even though he cried the whole time. Then, he walked out of the pool using the stairs. He. Walked. Out. Thank you to Swim with Mr. Blue and the team of amazing people who teach our children water safety and how to swim. We are forever grateful!
