OLD RULE OF THUMB — if you don’t USE it you LOSE it
You might be next to someone that can Bench Press and Squat 2-300 pounds, but then struggle with many body weight movements, especially with chin or pull ups. But why???
Let’s say in a comparable movement pattern, the Lat Pull Down. Example: this person is using 130 pounds, but their body weight is at 180 pounds….they aren’t training their body to lift their body weight! Just because you can throw weight around DOES NOT TRANSLATE to many body weight exercises.
The best tool you have to use is YOURSELF. Move it wisely
