As a professional athlete, I’ve seen firsthand how sports can completely change a child’s confidence, discipline, focus, and mindset. Basketball gave me structure, taught me accountability, helped me stay out of trouble, and opened doors I never imagined possible. The lessons I learned through training and competition shaped me into the man I am today — and that’s exactly why I’m passionate about pouring back into the next generation.

Some moments remind you why you started…

This weekend, Coach K led the stretch for the SOS Children’s Villages 5K — and it was bigger than just warming up a crowd.

SOS Children’s Villages is an organization dedicated to supporting children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it — giving them a safe home, education, and a real chance at life.

So every step, every stretch, every moment out there… meant something.

It was about showing up for kids who deserve stability.
It was about using our platform to pour into the next generation.
It was about community coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

You could feel the energy.
You could feel the purpose.

Coach K didn’t just lead a stretch… she led with heart, presence, and intention — setting the tone for an entire community to move and give back.

Because I saw the gap.

Programs aren’t always accessible.
And not every child fits into a “one-size-fits-all” environment.

So we bring it to you.
We meet your child where they are — their pace, their personality, their needs.

Sometimes people don’t just need a workout.

They need a moment in their day to reset.

To move a little.
To loosen up.

That’s what our Wellness Day at Compson Place was all about.

FitnessAtYourDoor had the opportunity to bring together a few different wellness experiences so people could stop by and take care of themselves, even in the middle of a busy day.

We offered:

• A functional group fitness class to get people moving
• Zumba to bring energy and fun to the space
• Mini chair massages to help people relax and recover
• A concierge chef experience to highlight the importance of nourishing the body

Because wellness isn’t just about working out.

It’s about movement, recovery, nutrition, and community all working together.

Watching people walk in feeling stressed or tight from the day and leave saying “I feel so much better” is exactly why we love bringing these experiences into communities and workplaces.

Moments like this remind me why I started FitnessAtYourDoor — to bring wellness directly into the environments where people live, work, and gather.
