Scott and Kini have been training together for 7yrs not only proud to call you my friend but a brother love you man and no one deserves this more than you do Professor Scott!!!

Congrats to Grandinho Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association's newest Blue Belt Herlyne she is back training 3 months after having a baby had to wait to give her this since she was pregnant great job it's grind time!!!

In May of 2014 Coach Kini was promoted to the rank of Faixa Preta (Black Belt) by Mestre (Master) Carlos David Oliveira. Today during a team camp he was promoted to the rank of Faixa Preta 1st Degree. Professor Kini is very passionate about the sport/art of Jiu Jitsu. The team at Grandinho Jiu Jitsu are very proud of him and all of his hard work and dedication to Jiu Jitsu.

So after almost three years of training off and on I am finally able to give this guy his Blue Belt the look on your face was priceless Chris well deserved my friend good to have you back!!!

Please help me welcome Mike and Derek to the Grandinho family. Both of these men are Vets and we thank them for their service.

Congrats to Mike AKA "Six" on receiving your Purple Belt last night! You are only the 5th person to receive this belt in the Grandinho family. Keep up the good work and enjoy the next part of your BJJ journey.

Last night was truly an amazing and humbling experience. One of my students said to me "coach I have a friend that wants to come train but there is one small problem he is blind". I said that is not a problem at all! I had the pleasure of receiving Richard aka "Blind Fury" (his self proclaimed nickname) into the Grandinho family and his personality and humor told me he was already right at home. What's even greater is that he gets to share the mats with his son Ashton.
