Good evening everyone! Just an update. We have sold our house! We close the 28th of September. I've got plans to make one more batch of whistles before the shop officially closes. And yes, it's closing. At least for quite a while. I'm not taking any special requests or orders for my last batch. These will be no frills, nothing special, strictly hunting whistles. Only acrylic so they'll last a lifetime. Thank y'all for everything and I'll be posting on about a week!

I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag. We will be putting our house on the market very soon. So what that means for C**n Creek is once the house is sold, I will be shutting the business down. I'm still undecided on if it will be a temporary thing or if it will be permanent. Regardless, I wanted to say Thank You from the very bottom of my heart. Y'all have made C**n Creek into more than I ever dreamed and looking back, I enjoyed every minute I spent in the shop making the best calls that I could for everyone. And there's been a lot of calls made in those 13 years! I won't be taking any new orders but I will try my best to make a few more before I close up shop. Thank y'all so, so much for all the support and God Bless.

I know a lot of you were waiting for a new whistle drop. I'm sorry to disappoint but it'll be delayed quite a bit. We were hammered by an ice storm this weekend. Lost power late Saturday night and from the looks of things, we won't be getting it back anytime soon. Lots of cleanup to look forward to...

I've watched this boy grow into a young man this past week. We started out on his first true duck hunt at Reelfoot Lake. Since there were very little ducks, we switched to goose hunting and I got to witness him kill his first goose on the wing. Then we switched back to deer hunting and he hunted by himself for the first time and killed two does in a 15 minute span! He's turned into a pretty good shot and a fine young outdoorsman. It won't be long and he'll be letting Ole Dad tag along instead of vice versa. But Ole Dad can still hold his on!
