Baseball family …… A baseball family needs us. DJ unexpectedly passed on Sunday leaving behind his wife and three kids . DJ loved the game of baseball and was on the field every day with his 11 & 12 year old boys either alone, with their teams, or with instructors. I can see his smile now every time I got on him for being hard on the boys when we worked out. He really loved his family and would do anything for them.

6 years of college baseball eligibility

There is so much meaning in this that applies to every part of being a mentor. Athletes don’t need to hear what we have done and what we can do for them daily. They need us to share wisdom and knowledge with them to uncover what they are capable of doing. They need us to pass them bricks to help them build the foundation that their future structure will stand on. We need them to know the story is theirs to write and with hard work they will decide what the book says.
