First reformer Pilates class ✔️
I’m not gonna lie… I was a little intimidated walking in and definitely humbled real quick. But I actually loved it.
It had me shaking and reminded me that trying something new keeps your body and mind challenged.
As someone who lives in the strength training world, I’m always here for anything that keeps me moving, learning, and growing.
Fearless is my word this year… and this is me living it!
Here I am, a beginner in my mid 40s, still showing up, staying Determined through it all 🙏🏻

What a privilege it is to be sore from a workout that you were ABLE to do.
It’s easy to complain about soreness, but the truth is—not everyone has a healthy, functioning body that allows them to even get to this point. There have been times I’ve been injured or unable to train, wishing I could just have a solid workout again.
So today, I’m choosing gratitude. This soreness isn’t an inconvenience—it’s a reminder that my body is capable, resilient, and strong enough to move, push, and grow.
We take that for granted way too often!

I finished 75 Hard!
On Friday, March 20th, I completed 75 Hard.
This one was different though. Usually, this program is both a mental and physical transformation for me. I go all in, push hard, and see big changes all around.
But this time… it was way more mental.
About 30 days in, my nervous system went crazy. My body wasn’t cooperating, things felt out of place, and I was dealing with a lot of actual limitations and pain. I couldn’t go as hard as I normally do, and that messed with me more than anything.
I’m not going to lie, I almost quit around day 45.
But I already knew what that would do to me mentally, and I wasn’t about to put myself in that position. So I just did what I could. I adjusted. I showed up however I was able to.
Still got every single task done every day. No altering it, no cheating the program.
Some days weren’t pretty. Some workouts weren’t intense. But I stayed consistent.
And honestly, that’s what made this one so tough. Not going hard — but not quitting when everything felt off, when I was in pain, and when I felt limited.
This one tested me mentally more than anything.
I didn’t quit. Even when I had every reason to.
And that means more to me than any physical result ever could.
Taking two weeks to reset, then it’s straight into the next phase of Live Hard!!

I’m proud of myself 👏🏼

Another shot 📷
At the inaugural Corona 5000 5K, Team Johnny Strong showed up with so much love and support. Seeing everyone wearing their shirts and running in honor of Johnny truly meant a lot to me.
Thank you to each and every one of you for standing with me, helping me honor my son, and raising awareness for childhood cancer🎗️ I’m beyond grateful and so proud of this team.
Corona showed up-and so did Team Johnny Strong!!

He did it!
In almost 90° heat and after a season of questioning if his body would even allow another marathon. The early mornings, the solo miles, the quiet commitment… we saw it all. We are so proud of his mental strength, his discipline, and most of all his heart.
Thank you for running in Johnny’s honor.
We love you!
JohnnyStrong forever 💛

Taking care of your body should come before anything else. Everything else should come 2nd.
