Calling out to all Coronado surf families, this Sunday starts the beginning of our School Year surf season! We have three different age groups, HS, MS, and Elementary ages. Weather you are a complete beginner or super experienced, you are welcome to come down and join us! CHS and CMS kids surf from 8-10 and then the young tykes start at 10 until noon. There will be foam surfboards to borrow and even wetsuits for those who don't have any so just bring a bathing suit and towel and plan on getting in the ocean. There will be sign up forms on the beach and I can answer any questions you might have. Shipwreck Beach in front of the Shores is the location. Bring a friend and see you then!

Surf Camp in Coronado, California Blue Wave is a new surfing camp being offered this summer through the Recreation
Department of the City of Coronado.
The camp will be offered weekly, Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 1 pm and will be located at the “Shipwreck” just south of the public parking lot at the Coronado Shores. This lot is located just off the beach at Avenida de las Arenas (across HWY 75 from Community Center). Blue Wave is geared towards kids aged 6-18 with special attention given to novice surfers. Ocean Beach, never a dull moment!
Congrats to Dani And Chrissy and the whole team for a solid performance at the final SSS Div 4 contest! Dani won girls shortboard and Chrissy took 2 in longboard. Team finished 4-1 and finished in first place. Next year it's up to Div 3!
