Nutrition Tips with Coach Cassie!

There are many benefits in eating naturally available, in season fruits and vegetables. One of my favorite reasons is because well, they taste better! LOL!

Below is a list of a few more reasons to support natural and eat Spring Seasonal fruits and veggies.

Benefits to eating seasonal fruits and vegetables:
1) Synching with the Spring and Summer seasons may help your body burn more fat because we can eat more fruit and veggies in our more active seasons.
2) Allowing fruit and veggies to grow according to their own rhythm and ripen on their own timeline allows them to taste better! This will also permit natural harvest time which makes the fruit and vegetable more nutritious.
3) Because they are in season, the abundance of fruit and vegetables can drive down price. If you are on a tight budget, seasonal is the way to go!
4) Help support our local farmers by consuming seasonal fruit and veggies!
