Texas Hitz #12–🔥⚾️

At Texas Hitz, we are more than a baseball organization … WE ARE FAMILY. ❤️🖤

And when one of our own is facing a battle, we don’t let them fight alone. We step up to the plate together.

One of our players’ moms, who is also the wife of one of our assistant coaches, is battling cancer. Right now, our Hitz family is rallying around Mari and reminding her that she has a whole organization standing beside her, praying for her, fighting with her, and cheering her on every step of the way. 🎀⚾️

We will be selling these TEAM MARI jerseys for $30 to show our support and help one of our own during this fight.

Cancer picked the wrong team.
… NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE. 🎀⚾️
One team. One family. One fight.
And we’re swinging for the fences with you, Mari.

Thank you Esther Benavides for working on the design of the jerseys and taking orders ❤️.

⚾️ PG FALL CLASSIC — FINALISTS! 🏆🔥

What a day for our Texas Hitz 7U boys! These boys battled through the heat in a one-day tournament and left it all on the field! 💪⚾️

Game 1 vs. NW Sox
⭐ MVP: #1 Jose Mora

Game 2 vs. Little Dingers
⭐ MVP: #29 Jonathan Garza

BRACKET PLAY
vs. NW Sox
⭐ MVP: #9 Luca Castillo

After 3 back-to-back games, the boys finally got a short break before heading right back out for the Championship Game vs. Oilers 🏆

It was a hard-fought battle all the way to the very end. Our boys fought until the last out and came up just ONE run short, finishing the PG Fall Classic as FINALISTS! 🥈

Four games. One hot day. A whole lot of heart. ❤️⚾️ Proud of the way these boys continued to battle, compete, and play for each other from the first pitch to the last!
