🥍 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿:

☆ Catching the ball! Passing and shooting are important, but you will improve your true 'stick skills' by getting better at catching passes.

☆ Field Geography Knowledge! Think about playing defense in a certain area of the field. Where should you push the offensive player to? What areas do the offensive player have the best shooting angle?

☆ Groundball + Quick Decision Making! It's not enough to just scoop the ball and roll it back onto the ground. Practice picking the ball up, getting your eyes up, finding a target, and delivering a high-quality pass. Or, scoop the ball and sprint to a cone or an area of the field.

☆☆☆ Learning from game film! So far, the best players in South TX Lacrosse have been the ones who watch lacrosse on YouTube or on tv. Even spending 5min per day watching the game, spotting patterns, and seeing how the players move can help improve your game.
