"Grandmother's Garden" Recital is this Saturday at 5pm. Tickets are on sale at the studio in advance. Students need to arrive at 4pm.

Ready to meet at the Barre?! Corrales Dance Studio will begin a summer workshops in June. Class size is limited to 6, so you'll need to notify the instructor a minimum of 48 hours prior to the class to reserve your spot. Cancellations 24 hours in advance to allow room for anyone on a wait list to attend. Cost is $10/class.

It is with a very heavy heart that Corrales Dance Studio announces we will remain closed for the fall semester.

This was a very difficult decision, but we felt we could not ensure the safety of our students, their families, and our teachers while offering the personal, interactive instruction that is our style and still follow the state protocols and maintain social distancing.

We hope that the spring semester provides a new beginning and the ability to come together to share our love of dance.

Please remember to come pick up your costumes this week. If you have any questions, call the studio.

Corrales Dance Studio Closed for the Rest of Spring Semester

It is with a heavy heart that Corrales Dance Studio announces that we will not be resuming classes in the Spring 2020 Semester. This also unfortunately means that we will not be having our end of year performance. Due to the continuing restrictions and ongoing uncertainty regarding public gatherings, we will not be able to resume classes. Our teachers share in your student’s disappointment that we will not be able to show case all their hard work over this year.

As the situation continues, we will continue to keep you informed on any further studio announcements including possible workshops or the upcoming fall semester.

We are working on getting videos on the dance routines, a basic ballet barre, and the jazz warm up loaded on our website. Stay tuned.

Corrales Dance Studio Closed for 3 Weeks in Response to COVID-19

Corrales Dance Studio would like to let all of our students & parents/guardians know that we support the direction the state has chosen to take and appreciate the efforts of our Governor to help keep New Mexicans healthy and safe. Therefore, as of today, Saturday, March 14, 2020, we will follow the public schools closing for the next three weeks. Future class schedules cannot be accurately predicted until we have more information as this is an ever-changing environment. Classes are anticipated to resume on April 6th. When classes are allowed to resume, Corrales Dance Studio will work to offer make-up class opportunities.

At this time, the recital is still scheduled for May 30th. As the situation changes, we may pursue venue changes or possibly rescheduling. But we will keep everyone informed as best we can. It is incredibly important that this performance take place as the dancers deserve to showcase what they have been working towards all year.

Please know that this was a difficult decision to make, as we considered the upcoming recital and the practice time our students would miss. However, safety is our top priority and given the growing number of cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the nation, we feel this is the right decision. Loma Larga is in the process of being paved near the studio.

We recommend using Corrales Road and Sagebrush Drive to travel to the studio during this roadway project.

There will be no classes on President's Day. Enjoy your night off.

We will still have classes tonight. If you can't make it due to the weather, you can discuss makeup options with your instructor at the next class.

Our Flamenco students got the opportunity to dance with the Spanish Broom tonight. They did great. Ole!
