Fall and winter catfishing is here upon us!

If you’re looking to get out and get after good eaters and possibly your PB then let’s go out and get on the water!

In my opinion this is the most fun way to catfish.

You will get to be hands on learning how to cast or I will do it for you. Baitcasters, spinning reels or closed face, whichever you need.

Tommy and Talisha Carter came out this morning for some birthday catfish! Overcast morning made out to be a pleasant day of fishing!!

Rylee wanted to take Reagan out this weekend on the boat. I was planning on going to Navarro Mills to put out another crappie home but my help had to cancel. Instead I took the girls to Richland Chambers to check a few piles I have out there. We didn’t check them all, they wanted to swim, but there were fish on some! Some BIG RC crappie!

We threw back many 17-18 inch hybrids, started out artificial and ended up using live shad.

CAST for Kids Richland Chambers was a success!! Stop number one wasn’t looking good so we moved to a spot I’ve been fishing and we had it to ourselves! Austin and his mom caught hybrids all morning! They ended up keeping 7 for dinner. Thanks to Matt Montfort for bringing my co captain today.

Thanks to Dawson Volunteer Fire Department for donating tables and chairs for the CAST for Kids Richland Chambers event tomorrow morning!!
