Heads up!!! We are MOVING!!!!

📢 METROPLEX DIVISION SCHEDULE UPDATE

The Metroplex Division event scheduled for October 17, 2026, has been moved from Joe Pool Lake to Lake Ray Roberts.

After reviewing the current size of the competing field, THSBA determined that Joe Pool Lake would not adequately support the number of teams expected to compete.

Several other lakes were considered, but each had active tournaments scheduled for the same date. We explored every available option to avoid visiting the same lake twice this season, but unfortunately, we were unable to make that happen in this instance.

All current Joe Pool tournament registrations will automatically transfer to the Lake Ray Roberts event. Anglers do not need to take any action on their end.

New tournament information will be posted. Please update your plans accordingly and help us share this announcement.

What a day!!! This tournament started and ended a little rocky, but the anglers had fun nonetheless!!! A huge shout-out to Hard Eight BBQ for feeding our captains and anglers today and to D.L. Customs for our amazing jerseys....we looked FANTASTIC out there!!! Eagle Mountain Lake is in the books, looking forward to the next!!!

FYI

🎣 CAN YOU FISH OUTSIDE YOUR HOME DIVISION?

Yes! THSBA anglers may fish as many tournaments across the state as they would like.

When fishing outside your home division:

✅ Your team is eligible for all scholarships and prizes offered at the tournament.

✅ You may fish with a different partner than you normally fish with in your home division.

❌ The tournament will not count toward your home division Angler of the Year standings.

⚠️ Important Team Rule: You cannot pair an angler from the tournament’s home division with an out-of-division angler. Both anglers on the team must be registered outside the division hosting the tournament.

Fish more lakes, compete against new teams, and take advantage of more opportunities across Texas!
