Breakaway Roping Quick Facts 🤓
- event sanctioned by Women's Professional Rodeo Association
- quickest event in rodeo
- only one legal catch: bell collar catch (clean around the neck)
- the "breakaway" occurs when the rope is pulled tight and the rope breaks free from the saddle (tied by a small cotton string)
