It is not too late to sign up for our next round of LIVESTRONG, a 12 week small group cancer survivorship program for those who are living with, through, or beyond cancer.
This free program includes two classes a week (Tue/Thur 12-1:30pm) as well as a 6 month membership to the YMCA.

Just a reminder that our membership special is starting on 10/1 to celebrate the new fitness center! Pay the day is a great time to join the YMCA-join fees are waived AND you'll only pay the amount of the day you sign up. Join 10/2-pay $2 for the whole month of October. Forgot and signed up 10/5-$5. You get the picture.

We'll be back at Racker Trunk or Treat and the Youth Bureau Trunk or Treat next month, and last year, we passed out over 1,000 bracelets!!
We need your help to make sure the kids have the goods, and are accepting donations of Halloween candy, Pokemon Cards (gently used is GREAT) and other fun little things we can hand out at our trunk. We have a box near the front door for collections.
Thanks for making sure the kids have the best day ever!

We had a great time at Nerf Night last night! There will be more to come. At the end of the night we did have two blasters and about 200 darts go home that belong to the YMCA. While this was a fun, free event, the supplies were supposed to stay here so we can continue to offer these programs.
If you find a blaster (they are labeled) or darts that do not look familiar, we would appreciate it you could return to the front desk. No questions asked.

A 1 mile and 5K pay what you can event, the Run 4 All welcomes those of all abilities, from walkers and strollers to the extreme runner at heart. Slight update to the pool closure schedule. We need to drain it more than we orginally thought, so the pool will close on Saturday, September 19th at noon (after swim lessons) to start draining and begin work on Monday. We'll keep you updated on the progress.
