The Town of Virgil’s Fireworks Celebration is almost here! 🎆 Join us this Friday, July 3 for food, live music, and fireworks over Hope Lake.

Join us at The Lookout at Hope Lake before the show for live music, food, and drinks. Food starts at 4:30pm, and Virgil Cain plays from 6–9 PM. Make the night even better with a limited-edition Independence Celebration t-shirt, which includes a BBQ meal voucher with each shirt. Limited quantities remain, so grab yours at the link below.

Prefer a park view? Bring a chair or picnic blanket to the Town of Virgil’s Hope Lake Park and enjoy the show from the lawn. We’ll also be serving food at the Hope Lake Park pavilion.

Please note that parking will be limited at both the Lookout and Hope Lake Park. We encourage you to arrive early and take advantage of the free shuttle service, which will run from the ski area parking lot to each location from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Chair 2 just got a serious upgrade. ⚙️ Yesterday, we completed the lift load test following a major modernization project. Over the past few weeks, the team has been hard at work installing new:

• Control system
• Drive system
• Braking system
• Tower switches and wiring
• Auxiliary circuit components

These improvements will increase the lift’s reliability and allow Chair 2 to operate up to 10% faster this winter. Stay tuned for an update on our snowmaking project. ❄️
