Emmy decided to join the fun!!

Look who is on the cover page of Ohio blood tracking dogs.

We are out here still tracking. Got the call last night. Arrow covered in blood. But only blood at the hit sight. After discussion we decided to wait till this am as I thought it may be liver. Sure enough the buck was in his second bed with very little blood at all just at hit sight and first 20 yards #123 for Emmy on the tailgate. Love watching her work.

Emmy found a toad last night in Kansas. Shot with a muzzleloader. No blood what a stud!!

Emmy is on the board in Kansas. The hunting has been great here at wheelers whitetails. Guys have been dropping them in there tracks. But we brought emmy out for This one as this buck ran into some thick stuff with very little blood. Number 122 on the tailgate.

We added another one this morning. Got the call last night. Hunter said he hit high behind the shoulder but the deer was only 10 yards. After sending me pics of the blood I asked him to back out as it looked liver and gut. We went in there this morning picked up the track went 250 yards to were they had last blood then Emmy kept going with a drop here and there. Then We found the arrow as it worked itself out. I knew Emmy was on it as the conditions were perfect and it was a fresh trail. Sure enough she took us right to it. Liver gut hit deer and a happy hunter!!

Iam amazed by the toughness of these animals. Got the call last night. Deer was shot yesterday morning. They gave him 12 hours then went and looked for him. We talked last night and after he explained how the deer walked off and pics of the arrow. Told him to back out. wait 24 hours. Well went in there today and 500 yards from the shot sight lays one of the biggest 6 points I have ever seen still alive 25 hours later. Iam the first to tell you I have no idea how this deer lived as long as he did. I could not have walked up and place the arrow any better. Only thing is the deer was slightly quartering too the hunter. But Emmy is on fire and another great track and another buck in the back of the truck. I will post a video of the in hole and exit so you all can see for yourself.
