Wednesday = Total Body.

This is where it all comes together.

🔹 Activation
🔹 Movement Prep
🔹 Strength Work
🔹 Total Body Auxiliary
🔹 Short High-Intensity Conditioning

You’ve hit lower. You’ve hit upper.
Now we integrate.

Full-body strength under fatigue.
Short bursts of intensity.
Ex*****on when it counts.

This is the bridge between strength and performance.
Move well. Then move fast.

We’re in a new phase.
Semifinal prep starts now.

This isn’t random training.
This is structured performance work built for strength, balance, and output.

Every day has a purpose:
→ Lower body strength
→ Upper body strength
→ Total body integration
→ Posterior & anterior chain development
→ Aerobic base + recovery work

We’re not just training to sweat.
We’re training to perform under pressure.

This is the next level of CFCM.

New Phase Begins: Semifinal Prep and Masters Qualifiers Announcement

We’re entering a new three-week phase focused on semifinal preparation. We’re excited to announce that several of our athletes have qualified for Masters in the age groups for CrossFit by ranking in the top sixty out of four hundred competitors. We’re grateful for everyone’s participation in the Open, quarterlies, and now semifinals as we go through this journey together at CrossFit Costa Mesa. This phase will focus on muscle activation, eccentric and concentric work, plyometrics, and isometric training to rebuild strength and prepare for Murph. We remind everyone not to get their vests out too early.

Week 3. Our Final FNL on Friday the 13th!

All Open workouts need to be done Friday if you want your score to count toward your team total. Once the final heat is done, we’ll tally everything up and announce the winning team of the CFCM Games.

After that?

🍕 🥤 🎉

Let’s close out the Open the right way and celebrate what matters most…COMMUNITY. See you there

03/08/2026

Today we celebrate the amazing women of CrossFit Costa Mesa who make this community stronger every single day.

Special shoutout to our OGs and for holding it down and keeping the gym in line while dealing with all the nonsense the boys bring.

But let’s be real — one day isn’t enough. The women of this community deserve to be celebrated all year long.

Last but not least for the CFCM Games…

🌊 Team Polynesian Persuasion 🌊
Captains: Wes & Mikey

Strength rooted in the islands.
Power built through discipline.
Presence you can’t ignore.

Explosive. Technical. Relentless.

From Southeast Asia to the Pacific Islands — culture, pride, and power all in one lineup.

Friday Night Lights just found its heavy hitters.

Next up in the CFCM Games…

🧀 Team Throw-Up Boys 🧀
Captains: Maxi & Pahed

Built on three principles:
Throw cheese.
Lift heavy.
Cause problems.

They don’t pace.
They don’t strategize.
They just send it and deal with the consequences later.

If there’s a barbell on the floor, it’s getting loaded.
If there’s chalk in the bucket, it’s getting used.
All problems can be solved by throwing cheese on it.
