All of us at Costa Mesa Speedway are absolutely heartbroken over the passing of our friend, Joe Jones. Joe is a true legend, a racer, builder, promoter, and above all, an incredible husband and father. His passion, talent, and heart leaves a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

There are no words to describe how tragic and devastating this loss feels. The Jones family has meant so much to Jaleen and I, our family and Costa Mesa Speedway. Joe’s friendship, genius and one of a kind energy inspired us all, and we will forever be grateful for the memories and moments we enjoyed with him.

We send our deepest condolences to the Jones family. Please know that we’re here for you and want to honor Joe in any way we can.

Joe, you are the coolest guy we know. God Speed, our friend.

Joe was many things that one caption cannot sum into words. If you've had a conversation with him you know his smile and high octane spirit. He was an all time Dad and Husband that loved his family and racing. The news of his passing is tragic to the CM Speedway family and fans. All of our thoughts are with the Jones Family.
