Senshi Judo takes home its first team trophy! 🏆

We are beyond excited to place in the Top 3 ranking out of 49 participating dojos at the 2024 Nanka West Coast Invitational. We took home 6 golds 🥇5 silvers 🥈1 bronze🥉 🙌🏻 we could not have achieved this without the hard work of our Senshi judokas, our coaches especially Senpai Jake, and our parents who come, cheer and support!

Senshi Judo at Kata practice! Thank you Sensei Osugi and team for sharing your knowledge! We learned so much today about proper etiquette and form.

As judokas we often focus on the big throws and flashy techniques, and tend to overlook the small details. A proper knowledge of kata ensures our judokas understand why we teach techniques a certain way and why safety is always a priority in lessons! Can’t wait for the next class — KOSHI-WAZA!

There’s a new senpai in town and his name is Chase!! We are so excited to promote Chase to Sankyu (3rd rank brown belt). Chase has been a wonderful team member, uke and senpai to our team. We are so proud of him!

A once-in-lifetime training session today with judo World & European Champion at .elsinore. Daria became the youngest ever judo world champion at age 17 and still has a long and bright future ahead. We’re excited to see the greatness unfold!
