Coronavirus Update (Classes Suspended)

10th Planet Orange County Family,

Due to the developing situation with COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to suspend all classes at all 10th Planet Orange County locations until further notice. We did not take this decision lightly, but after consulting CDC recommendations and other leaders in the jiu jitsu community, we are confident it is the right move.

While most of our students are healthy and at a very low risk for mortality from this disease, it’s our responsibility to do what we can to protect those most vulnerable in our society from the spread of the virus. Making this sacrifice for the greater good of our community is part of what it means to live like a black belt.

This doesn’t mean it’s time to sit on the couch and abandon our goals. The coaching staff will be working hard to find creative opportunities for us to continue learning and staying fit. We’ll post instructional videos daily to our private Facebook group, and we are also exploring the possibility of outdoor fitness activities more aligned with the “social distancing” that experts recommend.

Please ensure that you are a member of the private 10th Planet Orange County's Facebook group for the latest updates, technique videos, and activities. (Note: we only approve confirmed members, so let a coach know if your Facebook profile doesn’t match the name on your membership).

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and re-open as soon as we feel it is responsible, and we’ll keep you updated in the meantime. We ask members who are able to continue their memberships to do so -- we love you and appreciate your support, and are working on a loyalty program to reward those who stick with us during this difficult period.
