Sometimes we get so focused on what could go wrong that we never give things a chance to go right.

You don’t need every answer before taking the next stroke. You need the courage to begin—and the willingness to follow through.

Sometimes trust doesn’t break all at once. It wears thin in the space between what was promised and what actually happened.

You can still care deeply. You can still want things to work. And you can need more than another reassurance.

Like a paddle stroke, good intentions need follow-through to carry us anywhere.

Repair doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. It can begin with an honest conversation, a promise kept, and consistency that doesn’t disappear when things get uncomfortable.
