Hello everyone! It’s been a busy weekend with both bocce and athletics competitions. Today we had athletics at Willamette University in Salem. Field results are pending, but track results are:
* Natasha, 50m, 2nd
* Chantell, 50m, 1st
* William, 200m, 1st
* Ian, 50m, 1st
* Dan, 50m, 1st
* Cedar, 100m, 4th
Yesterday, when listing bocce results, I forgot to mention Monica & McCoy, who placed 2nd and received the sportsmanship award. Gary & Ryan placed 1st and also received the sportsmanship award. The sportsmanship award is given to teams that show support to their opponents, maintain proper behavior, and act with integrity during the meet. I’m really proud of both teams. To me, earning a sportsmanship award is very important.
A huge thank you to our coaches and families for their dedication and helping make these great results happen.
No bocce or track practice this Friday due to the Creative Chaos play at 6 PM. Doors open at 5:30. We encourage all athletes, parents, family, and friends to attend—half the athletes are in it, and it’s fun to watch!
As always, call me if you have any questions or concerns!
