Got out this morning early with Gary for some walleye action and it started out slow. We pulled hot firetiger Flicker Minnows 7's and all we got were crappie. We put out 9's and we did put three keepers size walleyes in the net . All fish were cpr'd today. Sun came out and wind died back and we pull up and headed in.

Guided Dennis and his wife Janice for walleye and panfish. Dennis and I started out walleye fishing and the wind was very light with clouds disappeared. We did boat a couple walleyes and and landed one keeper. One nice keeper bounced right out of the net. We then went to crappie and gills and Dennis and his wife Janice limited out.

Guided Jason, Carson and Rob who are staying Chief Lake Lodge out for walleye. We started at sunrise with the lite winds we had coming. Wasn't expecting much but we did boat about 10 walleyes and lost a couple nice ones. Bite slowed way up as the sun rose and wind was nonexistent. We kept 4 walleyes between 16 and 17 inches. Also caught and kept one 25 inch nothern.
After a couple hours of that we switched to panfish and kept about 15 fish. Got hot out there.

Plastics on the crappie and Flicker Minnows on the walleye. Hot firetiger is the best color then firetiger.

Guided Jeff and Molly out of Dèerfoot Lodge for walleye and panfish. We started out trolling for eyes and scooped up 3 keepers. Also caught a couple keeper crappie this way also. Yesterday I forgot to mention that we had a Osprey grab a crappie while we were bringing in a walleye on another line. It lifted the board out of the water and then dropped it. Close call.

Crappies were caught on purple plastics. The bigger the better.

Guided Jeff and Molly who are staying at Deerfoot Lodge for panfish and if we had time walleye. We started out on the east side on a tree loaded with panfish. Kept a few from that stop and moved on had half their limit and we moved over to west side. Found tons of fish and we're able to catch the other half of their limit.
Now Jeff is a guide also but on Greenbay and they catch big walleyes and Muskies. Not much for panfish. So Jeff wanted to leave boat behind and fish and keep fish that he can actually keep to eat.
We end up getting to fish walleye for an hour and a half and did ok. Caught about 8 eyes and kept 3 for the pan.
