Etson was a Red Shirt Freshman last year, and is projected to go 157 this season.

Gabe Swoyer - Lawrence, Kansas

Gabe wrestled 157 last season, and is projected to go 157/165 this season.

Swoyer was one win away from qualifying for the National tournament this season. He placed 6th at the Cougar Open and picked up 5 wins this season. In the Escapes department, #10 in all time escapes and #3 in season escapes.

We are looking forward to another of growth as a Cougar, Gabe!

Clayton Considine - Halstead, Kansas

Considine wrestled 141 last season, and is projected to go 149/157 this season.

Clayton suffered an injury halfway through his season, forcing him to step away from the mat. During his time on the Mat, he picked up 6 wins with 5 falls, and was in the 5 top statistical leaders in multiple categories, mid-way through season.

We are looking forward to another year of growth and a healthy season, Clayton!

This weeks returner is, K**e Yanez!

K**e wrestled 125 last season but is projected to go 133 this season.

Yanez had 8 season wins, placed 4th at the Service Salute and the Cougar Open. He was also in the Top 5 for our Statistical leaders in Wins, Team Points, Falls, and Escapes.

We are looking forward to another year of growth as a Cougar, Yike!
