The challenge for the 2016-2017 VEX season has been released! Check out the video for the overview of the challenge. We're looking for lots of new members next year, so come talk to Ellie Shea, Maura Shea, Zoe Bates or Mrs. Chase if you're interested in joining. No experience is necessary. We'll need people to design, build, drive, and program the robot, so there's something for everyone.

VEX Starstruck - 2016-2017 VEX Robotics Competition Game
04/16/2016
Here are some pictures from Iowa! We didn't do as well as we had hoped to, but still had a great time competing at the U.S. Open Robotics Championship. For Zoe and Maura, it was a great way to end their robotics careers; for Ellie, it was a great way to start hers. We would like to thank all of the people and businesses whose contributions are the reason that we were able to attend this amazing event, we couldn't have gone without you!

It's official! The Quabbin Robotics Team has registered to compete at the U.S. Open Robotics Championships in Iowa this April!

Today the girls robotics team had a great day. We recently decided to change our team name to and it seems to have done the trick. We traveled to Rhode Island this morning to compete in the Regional Qualifier and ended up leaving as Tournament Champions! If that wasn't enough, we also received the Excellence Award, often considered the highest award that a team can receive at a competition. This means that we have qualified to compete at the Southern New England Championships in early March.
By winning the tournament and receiving the Excellence Award, for the second year in a row the Quabbin Robotics team has qualified to compete at the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Council Bluffs, Iowa this April! We are ecstatic and hope that we will be able to make the trip for our last chance to compete at the Nationals Championships before Zoe and Maura graduate.
Below is a picture of our trophies from today. More pictures from today's tournament will be posted soon.
