We’re offering 3 levels of Acro for ages 6–12, designed to build tumbling skills, strength, flexibility, mobility, and body control—all while having a LOT of fun!

These classes are a great way to add movement and skill-building to your child’s week without committing to the full dance season. And if they already dance with us, Acro is an awesome way to make them stronger and more capable in their other classes, too.

First semester classes begin September 8!

🎄 NUTCRACKER CASTING CALL — WE NEED 3 YOUNG MEN! 🎄

We’re looking for three boys, ages 6–12, to join our cast of The Nutcracker this season!

These are mostly acting roles, so dance experience is not required! Dance families are preferred, but if you know a boy who would have a blast being onstage, we would absolutely love to meet him.

✨ Scholarships are available for all three roles!
🎭 Ages 6–12
🗓 Rehearsals: Thursdays, 3:45–4:30 PM
📅 September–December
🕺 Mostly acting — no dance experience necessary!

For years, athletes have been told they have to choose: sports or dance.

We are so excited to welcome Stevie Winters to our Council Grove and Wamego staff this season!

Miss Stevie has been dancing for over 15 years and brings a strong foundation in both performance and leadership to the classroom. She has trained at several respected studios throughout Louisiana and is currently studying Dance and the Human Experience at Kansas State University while earning a Leadership Studies certificate. Stevie has experience assisting classes for dancers ages 2–18, choreographing for high school cheer and dance teams, and teaching at Shreveport Dance Academy.

Her passion for dance, positive attitude, and dedication to helping young dancers grow make her an exciting addition to the Kanvas Dance Company faculty.
