☀️ SWEET SWEET SUMMER… Oh how it goes by way too fast!! Yesterday was the last day of our 6 week summer session. We spent the summer with lots of active youth and enjoyed every minute of it.

We danced, we tumbled, we learned and we grew as humans, not just as students.

I AM 2 ALL DAY LONG..... Why does your 2 yr old need dance/ gymnastics in their weekly routine?

- It helps toddlers develop their muscles, particularly in the core, arms, and legs, promoting overall strength.

- Following instructions and mastering skills in class requires concentration, improving toddlers' focus and attention span.

- Class provides opportunities for toddlers to socialize with others their age, improving their social skills and ability to communicate.

- Class also allow's toddlers to express themselves through movement and creativity, promoting emotional expression and regulation.

Our 2 yr old program involves structured classes that are all about growth. We introduce your child to basic skills in a fun and supportive environment.

They have worked so hard and we can’t wait to watch each one of them shine while making memories with their families along the way.

🇺🇸 HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! The 1st ever… July 4th Parade in Covington is TODAY! Come on out to the Covington Square and celebrate! The parade begins at 10am and there will be fun filled festivities following.

We have a group of awesome students that would love to see you there!

🧜‍♀️ Our Mermaid Gymnastics Camp begins on Monday and is 100% sold out! We can’t wait for the FUN ahead!

Addie Consuegra is an incoming Junior within the Newton County School system. She is also a dedicated competitive dance team member here at KIS!

Today she settles in for the Governors Honors Summer Program being held in Statesboro.

🌟 The overall state-level acceptance rate for the Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) ranges between 14% and 21%. There were only 600 Georgia students accepted with only 35 of them being dancers.

🌟 The program is a rigorous, four-week summer residential experience where students dive deep into a specific academic or fine arts major.

🌟🌟 Addie is THE ONLY Newton County student to be accepted into the Dance Program for the 2026 summer.

We are so proud and can’t wait to hear about the weeks ahead. GO ADDIE!
