We currently have boarding availability for 6 stalls at our family-friendly boutique farm. Our property offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere with beautifully maintained gardens, and a variety of animals on-site. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed, community-oriented environment where boarders feel at home and horses receive attentive, quality care. Southern Standard Stables, conveniently located off of Lee Rd in Covington LA, is excited to offer 6 stalls for boarding beginning June 1st. Amenities include 10x12 stalls, custom feed from Horses Delight, hay, blanketing, turnout, a 100x70 riding ring, roundpen, washrack, and management on site. SSS is excited to announce that we will be joining Elite Rhythm Eventing at Hunters Bluff Farm as the assistant trainers in their expansion into offering a riding school!

Southern Standard will be transitioning into a purely boarding facility, with a quiet atmosphere and the same impeccable level of care we’ve always offered without having lessons on site. Please reach out regarding information and prices for boarding!

We would like to welcome Archer and the Lepine family to 3S!! Archer is a 3yo Friesian cross we get to help bring along to the eventing world. We cannot wait to see how him and Hannah grow together in the future!! thanks for trusting us with your boy!!

We knew him for a long time, and somehow he made his way into everyone’s heart. He knew exactly what he was doing. He lived a good life—full of purpose, mischief, and the quiet pride of a horse who knew he’d done his job. He carried countless first rides, first canters, and first “I’ve got this” moments.

Gone, but never forgotten.
Mostly because he wouldn’t let us forget him.
