Today we say thank you to the law enforcement agencies across Louisiana who stand with Special Olympics Louisiana every day.
As the Guardians of the Flame, they carry more than a torch—they carry hope, inclusion, and belief in the abilities of our athletes. Their support through the Law Enforcement Torch Run helps change lives and strengthen communities statewide.
We are proud, grateful, and inspired by all you do.

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day that means so much to me. I have devoted my entire professional career to working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am truly blessed to serve this incredible community — their strength, joy, and determination inspire me every single day. 💙

Here’s to continuing the work, breaking barriers, and celebrating the abilities in all of us.

Could it be possible to love Chick-fil-A even more than I already do?

This week, Chick-fil-A locations across the Greater New Orleans area showed up in the most amazing way—writing heartfelt motivational cards for athletes heading to the State Summer Games this weekend. As if that weren’t enough, several GNO stores will also be hosting pep rallies to send our athletes off with love, encouragement, and community pride.

Moments like this remind me that kindness, support, and a simple act of encouragement can go a long way. Thank you, Chick-fil-A, for feeding more than just our stomachs—you’re feeding spirits, too.
