Flying Change Farm

FCF had a very busy and fun August! The beginning of the month took us to HITS Chicago at our favorite place, Lamplight! We had the best week showing in the cooler weather. All horses and riders brought home great ribbons in top competition.
We ended the month hosting the first IEA show of our season. We had a great show despite the heat! A special congrats to our Upper School team, who was champion both days! And of course congrats to our beloved ⭐️Mannheim⭐️, owned by Emery Johnson, who was awarded Horse of the Show both days!

It’s almost time for our fall schooling show! As always, come enjoy our pancake breakfast! Champion prizes in the hunters AND equitation! Stabling and paddocks are limited, so reserve yours NOW! Come see everyone’s favorite black cats this October at Flying Change Farm!

⭐️Jumper show update! ⭐️

Due to a better forecast and a chance of early rain, tomorrow’s jumper show start time will be pushed back to 8am! Schooling 6:45-7:40am. Drag around 7:40. The ring will also be open for quick schooling breaks as we change fence heights in between divisions. Schooling also open tonight until 8pm.

Important update regarding Friday Night Lights Aug 21! Due to the recent heat wave, we will be RESCHEDULING the upcoming jumper show to Aug 22 with a 7am start time. Schooling is open Friday evening the 21st 6:30- 8:30 and Saturday morning 5:45-6:50am. Entries are open now. Remember to enter by Wednesday Aug 19 to get the discounted rate! Come hungry and enjoy our FREE pancake breakfast! We hope this earlier time helps us beat the heat! See you soon!

Our LAST summer camp of 2026 is next week! We still have a few available slots, so if you’ve thought about introducing your child to the love of horses, now is the time! Children learn basic horse care, ride twice a day and have a lot of fun being at the farm all day! 9am-4pm, Monday thru Friday.
