Joy School of Dance Our studio is a welcoming environment where creativity flourishes and friendships are forged.

At the Joy School we have gathered a stellar faculty to bring out the “star” in each student. With decades of dance experience beginning at the Joy School and continuing with classes at Point Park University, the International Ballet Theatre and numerous dance seminars and workshops, many years teaching dance, a degree in education, and two children of her own, Miss Sharon personifies the Joy School tradition of excellence. The average stay of our students is from toddler to teen and beyond. Students most often graduate to the Junior Company and the Company. The many levels of instruction are just one of our strengths, another is the ratio of teacher to student. Our students happiness and positive self-images are essential to their growth as individuals. We believe the most certain element of success is a positive mental attitude and we encourage this verbally and with the use of achievement charts, picture pages, and stickers.
