We are looking for the next group of volunteers to help us keep youth baseball and softball going strong in Craftsbury! ⚾️🥎
Because we live in a small community, the truth is simple… if we do not find new board members and coaches, we will not have a Little League program in our town.
Volunteering with Little League is a wonderful way for both kids and adults to connect and build lasting friendships. Community members, parents, grandparents, alumni, or any folks who want to support local youth sports are more than welcome.
To ensure we can open registration in January, we need to form our new team of volunteers now:
· Board Members (2 Year Term: Spring 2027 and Spring 2028 Seasons): (No baseball or softball knowledge needed!): You do not need to know a single thing about sports to be an amazing board member! We need people who are good with organization, email, computer programs and spreadsheets, marketing, recruiting, and fundraising. Once the new board is formed, the group will meet to divide up tasks based on everyone’s strengths.
· Coaching Roles (Spring 2027 Season): (Baseball and softball knowledge helpful, but not required!): If you know the game, or want to learn it, and love working with kids - we need you on the field! We are looking for Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Dugout Helpers, and Umpires!
Please don’t wait for someone else to step up. Please email [email protected] by October 1st and let us know if you can help out as a Coach or Board Member.
Thank you for supporting our kids, making our community stronger, and keeping local sports alive in Craftsbury!
