🦃 🦃 🦃 My brother from another mother Bryan Absher made me up a few of his trumpet cases with the AGE brand. These are great cases and a more cost effective alternative to my aluminum trumpet cases. I have a limited number of these with the AGE logo available for $20 plus $10 shipping.

I’m raffling off these 2 yelper calls to help the North Murray High School Mountaineers volleyball program. It’s Ava’s senior year! Their first game starts tomorrow. 100% of the proceeds will go to the team to help pay for their needs for the season. The raffle is for both calls. Spots are $35ea. And are limited to 40 spots. As soon as it’s filled we will draw the winner.

The calls are an XT trumpet and a 3 piece yelper made from African Blackwood. With hammered brass mouthpieces with locking lip stops. These calls for the pair would cost around $1k with a 9-10 month wait.

Alfred, which way was that gobble?!?!

Going full Batman since 2015. Been some slight changes over the last decade. But still tricking gobblers. Something about an all black call. Maybe we need a seat cushion mod for master Wayne’s bat suite?

Second pic is my personal call, first all black, Blackwood T6 I made circa 2015. Called in that Cohutta mountain WMA gobbler the next spring. That bird only had 1 spur and one slick leg! Should have named him Harvey Dent! 😂

I don’t always explode African Blackwood Burl blanks. But when I do it’s always when the customer supplied the wood. 🙄 😡 Thankfully, I was able to get 2 blanks from the block he sent and we persevered. This wood doesn’t photograph well but I’m always in awe of the nebulous swirls in these Blackwood burls. If you wonder why my calls are expensive. Look at the polish inside the bore of that blank. Lots of time to get that polish. The inside should be as shiny and smooth as the outside. Whomever you buy a call from. Make sure it’s just as nice under the hood as it is on the outside.
