Tonight, Cody DeCoons, founder of Sports Sitters , was invited to take the stage in Indianapolis and open the 2026 High School Hustle Awards Ceremony in front of more than 500 people. High School Hustle is a unbelievable non profit that focuses on helping this next generation of entrepreneurs
The youngest one in the program, at 14 years old — and before even starting high school — Cody shared the story of Sports Sitters, the business he started right here in Cranford.
What began as a simple idea has turned into something so much bigger: bringing young athletes together, giving high school students opportunities to lead and mentor, and creating fun, positive sports experiences for younger kids in our community.
And we truly believe we are building something very special.
It starts here in Cranford.
Cranford has supported Sports Sitters from the very beginning — local media, the families who booked that first lesson, came to our camps and tournaments, shared our posts, recommended us to friends, and believed in a 14-year-old kid with a big idea.
